Terms of Service
These Terms apply when you use the Book.Video website or purchase book-trailer, video-production, or related creative services.
Book.Video is operated by Voice.App.

Starting a project
A project begins after we receive:
- The required payment or deposit
- The necessary book and project materials
- Your completed instructions
- Any required approvals
Delivery dates are estimates unless a guaranteed deadline is confirmed in writing.
Delays in feedback, payment, materials, or approvals may extend the production timeline.
Your materials
You retain ownership of the manuscript, cover, images, branding, recordings, and other materials you provide.
You give us permission to use and process those materials only as needed to create and deliver the agreed work.
You confirm that you own your materials or have permission to use them. You are responsible for claims arising from materials supplied without the necessary rights.
Creative production and AI
Our work combines human creative direction with AI-assisted workflows and generative video technology.
We oversee the concept, visual direction, editing, sound, and final production.
Generative technology may produce variations or imperfections. We review and refine the results, but cannot guarantee that every generated element will be completely unique or separately protected by copyright in every country.
Feedback and revisions
The number of revision rounds included depends on your selected package.
A revision round means one organised set of feedback submitted at the appropriate review stage.
Small changes to text, timing, editing, sound, or approved visuals may be included. The following may require an additional fee:
- A new concept or direction
- New scenes or deliverables
- Replacement of previously approved characters or locations
- Major changes after approval
- Additional voice recordings
- Extra formats or languages
- Repeated or conflicting feedback
We will confirm any additional cost before beginning extra work.
Payments
Prices and payment schedules will be shown in your proposal or checkout.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Production starts after the required payment is received
- Additional work is charged separately
- Final unwatermarked files may be withheld until full payment
- Bank, currency, or payment-processing fees may be your responsibility
Cancellation and refunds
You may request cancellation by contacting hello@book.video
Payments covering completed work, approved production stages, or third-party expenses are normally non-refundable.
If you cancel before completion, you may be charged for work already completed and costs already committed.
Ownership and usage rights
After full payment, you may use the approved final video and delivered promotional assets to market the relevant book, author, publisher, or campaign.
This may include use on:
- Websites
- Social media
- Video platforms
- Retailer listings
- Email campaigns
- Events
- Public relations
- Organic and paid advertising
Unless specifically included, you do not receive ownership of:
- Editable project files
- Raw production files
- Unused concepts
- Prompts and workflows
- Internal templates
- Separate third-party or stock assets
Third-party music, fonts, voices, and production assets remain subject to their applicable licences.
Portfolio use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we may display completed public work in our portfolio, website, social media, presentations, and promotional reels.
We will not intentionally publish an unreleased project before its agreed launch date.
Contact us before production begins when confidentiality or an embargo is required.
Client approval
You are responsible for reviewing names, text, images, spelling, dates, claims, credits, pronunciations, and other details before final approval.
We are not responsible for errors that were present in client-provided information or approved by the client.
No sales guarantee
We provide creative and production services.
We do not guarantee book sales, advertising performance, views, engagement, press coverage, retailer acceptance, or other commercial results.
Results depend on factors beyond our control, including the book, audience, campaign strategy, advertising budget, distribution, and platform algorithms.
Liability
We will provide the agreed services with reasonable professional care.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to a project will not exceed the amount paid to us for that project.
We are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, platform changes, or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version accepted when your project begins will normally continue to apply to that project.
